

Yemeni coffee known as mocha has its wild nature and deep fruity notes.
This is the most traditionally produced coffee in the world, and the process has been essentially unchanged in the past 500 years. They are all natural, and the most complex and fragrant ones come from the Bani Matar region. They are based around the city of Sana’a and have an altitude of about 2,200 meters.
Specialty coffee is grown in selected mountainous regions and Yemeni coffee derives its exotic and pungent flavor from its cultivation at an altitude of 2,400 meters above sea level. Combined with dry weather conditions and minimal rainfall, these factors lead to a somewhat higher price of coffee. Where many consider Yemeni coffee beans to be the best among other types in the world market.
